Qualifications & experience

• Trade qualified preferred but experience of over 2 years will be considered

• Cert III Painting and Decorating or equivalent experience

• Drivers licence - essential

• White card - essential

• Licence to Perform High Risk Work - EWP licence - desirable

• Ochre card - desirable

• Minimum 2 years experience
   

 

Tasks & responsibilities

 

As a Painter you will:

• Provide your own tools, transport and PPE

• Able to Spray paint

• General brush and roller painting

• Match paint colours

• Seal, undercoat and topcoat walls, ceilings, doors & door frames

• Fix/patch holes and cracks in doors and walls; then prepare and paint surfaces

• Work at heights painting gutters, downpipes and high-set buildings

• Erect, dismantle and manage the use of basic scaffolding to undertake painting activities

• Operate EWP’s and Scissor lifts appropriately to undertake elevated work

• Have own vehicle or form of transport - essential
