Administration Assistant

Qualifications & experience

  • Trade qualified preferred but experience of over 2 years will be considered

  • Cert III Painting and Decorating or equivalent experience

  • Drivers licence

  • EWP licence

  • White card

  • Ochre card (optional)

  • Minimum 2 years experience

 

Tasks & responsibilities

 

As a Painter you will:

  • Provide your own tools, transport and PPE

  • Spray paint

  • General brush and roller painting

  • match paint colours

  • seal, undercoat and topcoat walls, ceilings, doors & door frames

  • seal glass areas around painted surfaces (e.g. putty)

  • fix/patch holes and cracks in doors and walls; then prepare and paint surfaces

  • work at heights painting gutters, downpipes and high-set buildings

  • erect, dismantle and manage the use of basic scaffolding to undertake painting activities

  • Operate EWP’s and Scissor lifts appropriately to undertake elevated work
